Job Description

To successfully engage, develop, and support the Aersopace business division sales strategy as a technical sales and account manager in accordance with and consistent to Valiant’s Sales and Marketing business plan for the procurement of automated production systems ensuring that the Company is represented professionally at all times, achieving all objectives on a continuous basis.

• Assume accountability for assigned account management functions or customers;
• Develop, manage, and nurture new aerospace business accounts and partnerships to accomplish Company or Business Unit goals and objectives.
• Keen knowledge of the aerospace market place and developed relationships with key customers, and decision makers at all levels of procurement.
• Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation with all Valiant Team Members, customers, suppliers and others affecting or participating in the business process;
• Adhere to and support the Corporation Business Ethics Policy, Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement, Code of Conduct and related policies, guidelines, statements and standards;
• Provide metrics, reports and success criteria for assigned all sales and related activities on an ongoing basis and as requested from time to time;
• Participate in and contribute to the Sales and Marketing Team’s strategic planning and goal setting processes with respect to identifying and developing alliances, market or customer sector specific targeting and communication initiatives to and close or grow customer accounts;
• As required, represent the Corporation, as a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, external at industry and customer events such as trade shows, networking venues, visitations, etc.;
• Integrate and align assigned account management strategies with available talent, processes, systems, and other areas to increase sales capability and success;
• Recommend, to the Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, product segmentation strategies to maximum business opportunities across various sales channels;
• Effectively communicate the “Valiant” brand identity to the customer base; and
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Vice-President, Sales and Marketing or the Senior Leadership


Job Requirements

• A technical studies degree or diploma from a recognized university or a community college;
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing, project management or business development in the aerospace tooling industry and comparable sectors;
• Preference given to candidates with customer knowledge and business development experience with a vast array of customer diversification. Strong experience with Boeing, Spirit, Lockheed, Pratt & Whitney, and GE are highly preferred.
• Proven, and superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities;
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills;
• The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; and
• The ability to work with others in a team atmosphere
