Account Manager in Windsor at Valiant TMS

Job Description

•        Developing and implementing creative strategies to pro-actively identify new business, secure business opportunities and support corporate goals and objectives of existing customers.

•        Targeting and promoting specific tooling and commodities which fall within Valiant TMS capabilities, including new tooling platform possibilities and future programs.

•        Ensure ongoing communication between internal and external departments to pre-emptively identify breakdowns in communication, loss of business, and Non-Competiveness Reports

•        Making regular planned calls on customers for the purpose of both follow up and new business opportunities.

•        Attending to commercial issues and payments

•        Generating and tracking Valiant TMS customer satisfaction levels with Customer and Supply bases 

•        Develop, manage, and secure new mold business accounts to meet and exceed business unit goals and objectives.

•        Provide metrics, reports and success criteria for assigned all sales and related activities utilizing Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM – Salesforce)

•        Recommend strategies to maximize business opportunities across various sales channels;

•        Represent the Valiant TMS Mold division at external industry and customer events such as trade shows, networking venues, visitations, etc.;

•        Assume accountability for assigned account management functions or customers;

•        Keen knowledge of the mold market place having relationships with key customers, and decision makers at all levels of mold procurement.  

•        Demonstrate and encourage teamwork with all Valiant TMS associates, customers, and suppliers

•        Adhere to and support the Corporation Business Ethics Policy, Confidentiality  and Non-Compete Agreement, Code of Conduct and related policies, guidelines, statements and standards;

Provide leadership to divisional strategic planning and goal setting

•        Effectively communicate the “Valiant TMS” brand identity to the customer base;

Perform other duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

•        A technical or commercial degree or diploma from a recognized university

•        Exceptional communication skills

•        Driven results oriented impact maker

•        Ability to leverage business development network

•        Strategic planner and critical thinker

•        Proven ability to lead and manage colleagues in a team dynamic

•        Ability to manage large customer base

•        Technical competency in plastic injection and compression molds

•        Solution provider

•        Contract negotiation and resolutions

•        Technical background and understanding of injection, compression and other types of mold tool making

•        A background in Tool Engineering, Program Management and/or Tool Making.
